Is a family business that was born from the desire to materialize a dream that was built within the maternal home of its founder, Maria Isabel Velez Posada, the same one that, over time, also became the dream of her sisters Laura Marcela and Luisa Fernanda.

Maria Isabel Velez
Founder of 4J Special Moments, born in Colombia and arrived in the United States in 2017 with the firm desire to start her venture based on her thought that art can make simple and ordinary things memorable.
Initially, Maria Isabel entered the world of pastries because of her taste for cooking but found that this was how she could express her art, which she has been passionate about throughout her life. Once she finds herself face to face with what this project requires, she decides to train and expand her knowledge in the gastronomic field since her culinary skills came in an empirical way, and from all the wonder she learned from her mother, who prepared exquisite dishes and cakes for different events.
Maria Isabel defines herself as a romantic and passionate woman, and that is why she doesn’t focus her products only on delicious flavors and textures, nor only on an elegant, colorful, or artisan appearance, but seeks to transmit emotions, feelings, and generate new memories in each person who acquires one of her products.
More than a pastry or boutique, Maria Isabel defines her company as a factory of feelings, which come from the illusion of the one who orders it, the love with which it is prepared, and the joy felt by the one who receives it, Maria Isabel has always believed that giving emotions nourishes the soul, and she found through her company a tangible way to do it.

Laura Marcela Velez
She is the oldest of 4 siblings, born in Colombia. She trained professionally in the International Business Area, but life gradually led her to what today is also her dream.
Although she dedicated several years of her youth to professionalizing herself in another field, she was always involved in baking since her mother trained her and made different desserts and dishes with which she conquered Laura's palate and those who tried them.
For a long time, Laura Marcela sold a variety of desserts in her work environment under her venture, called the Desserts of Sofia. Still, after a visit to her sister in the United States, she decided to dedicate her energy to the development of that same project, which Maria was already underway. When she returns to Colombia, she begins to train in the area, learns different techniques and trends, and then begins to plan what is currently the second headquarters of 4j Special Moments.
Laura Marcela runs the headquarters in Medellín, Colombia, and she does so under the same business guideline of using pastries as a way to make art and give "feelings." She is constantly learning every day, and she hopes to take this dream on a large scale.

The idea of 4J Special Moments, in its beginnings, had no name; it was just a family dream that Mary Posada fantasized about as she expanded her knowledge in the gastronomy world. She visualized it with a large banquet hall, where she would prepare the most exquisite dishes and the most captivating biscuits for her daughter Maria Isabel, who was passionate about the art, always delegated the decoration of the place to her dreams so that it would be a harmonious environment, Laura, for her excellent commercial skills, placed her in the marketing part, and in addition to that, in the preparation of desserts And Luisa Fernanda who called herself the "administrator" was visualized managing this project and implementing strategies so that one day it would become real. Today, many of the things she planned in her illusions have gradually materialized. Her fourth son, Jhon Fredy, decided to fight for his business and is currently working in his mechanical workshop.
There's no doubt that this mother, so dedicated to her children, continues to closely watch the evolution of this dream, which will one day become as great as she visualized it at the time.
It has been heartbreaking for these four entrepreneurs to live through this process without their mother, who was always a cause for admiration and inspiration. She owes not only to the values and moral principles she instilled but also her example of tenacity and having sown the seed so that one day it would germinate and result in this company.
